Roger and Max were brothers: Roger born 1901, Max born 1903.  They were grandchildren and pupils of Sebastien Auguste Deroux and Leon Mougenot.  Both worked together for Dykes and sons in London. Max spent some time with Leon Mougenot  at Mirecourt.  Max started his own workshop in Paris in 1884.  They worked together at Paris, 1930.  Won medal at the Cremona Exhibitioin, 1949, for a splendidly made quartet; also gained a high waward at The Hague Competition 1949.
