Sebastian Kloz violin
This Sebastian Kloz violin is exceptionally strong and superbly playable. It is dated 1700 on the label, but does not have a grafted neck so it is most likely a handmade German copy around 100 years old. The varnish is golden yellow underneath a warm brown. Nicks and wear consistent with age, no repaired cracks. This violin will ring out above the orchestra and has a mature tone. The back measures 358 mm, full size.
