Luigi Galimberti Violin
This Luigi Galimberti Violin is dated 1928. He was born at Seveso, Italy in 1888 and was a pupil of Rottola and Antonazzi. He worked at Milan and won medals at Rome and Florence. He produced instruments up to 1948. He favored golden-yellow varnish. Original label inside is hand signed by the maker and branded on the back. No repairs – one deep nick in the upper treble edge. Also surface wear on treble side due to bow in case. Fresh set up with Dominant strings.
