Frederick Cayford English violin
This Frederick Cayford violin was made in London in 1882. Violin is in excellent condition with no repairs. Surface wear and dings consistent with age. Set up with new Dominant strings, bridge and sound post. Plays easily and very resonant, powerful – a wonderful instrument!
The tiger maple used for the back, sides and scroll is highly flamed and of superior quality. Meticulous craftsmanship, masterfully carved scroll and careful attention to every detail.
