Antonio Stradivari Violin copy dated 1736
Antonio Stradivari is by far the most admired and imitated violin maker of all time. This beautiful replica has a grafted neck and was probably made around 1820-1830. Beautiful highly figured 2-piece, bookmarked back, flamed maple sides and neck. The back measures 360 mm, full size. There are no repaired cracks, varnish wear consistent with age. This violin is set up with rosewood pegs, tailpiece and chin rest with new Dominant strings.
