Why We Offer Violins at a Discount
Having a violinist in the family can be very expensive. We have two daughters that play violin and a son who plays cello. Instruments, bows, cases, sheet music, private lessons and music camp…it can add up to a small fortune!
We began buying and restoring violins a number of years ago in an attempt to provide better instruments for our kids without the excessive price tag that comes with a fine violin or cello. At first we paid to have all the restoration work done. Little by little I began learning to do some of the restoration myself. I work with the generous help of a master luthier to restore these instruments to top playing condition. We assist parents and teachers to find the right instrument to match your style and ear.
Over the years we have helped many, many students and professionals upgrade their instruments and bows. One young lady was able to make payments from babysitting to cover the cost of her old German violin. This has been a delightful journey – I hope we can help you!
